RIMScast

Mar 1, 2022

Welcome to RIMScast. Your host is Justin Smulison, Business Content Manager at RIMS, the Risk and Insurance Management Society.

There are always developments in global health that affect the public and organizations in the way of safety and travel and that’s why RIMScast is joined once again by Dr. Adrian Hyzler, the HX Global Chief Medical Officer, to give his seasonal update on COVID-19, public health, travel safety, and more!

In this update with Dr. Hyzler, he discusses travel risk management, how lifting the COVID-19 restrictions in the UK could set a precedent for other nations, the differences between the variants Omicron 1 and 2, and the precautions you should still be taking when it comes to protecting yourself against COVID-19. Dr. Hyzler also touches on other health developments that can impact individuals and organizations and positive news in the treatment of other known viruses such as HIV and malaria.
