Tweetables (For Social Media Use):

“Risk is quite a difficult conversation to get on the agenda. So what I try to do is really try to change the conversation not to, ‘What is risk?’ but to ‘How do you ensure that you achieve your objects? And what’s standing in the way of doing that?’” — Kerry Bakkerus

“I think risk is really such an exciting profession. It’s one that really adds strategic value to the organization.” — Kerry Bakkerus

“Risk management is … always changing. It’s not something you can just take a course [for] and, ‘know how to do.’ … It’s important to stay connected with people through organizations, …  reevaluating the risk … and seeing … new products … [and] trends.” — Erica Kiefer

“In Japan, risk is thought to be … [something] to avoid. But if you are a good strategist, you have to think beforehand which barrier is more difficult. … We have to think more proactively … and what is the best way to overcome, compared to the competitors.” — Mako Kanda
