Tweetables (For Social Media Use):

“As part of the RIMS Autumn Advocacy week, we had the opportunity to meet with a handful of … staffers both the Senate and Congress to talk about the Pandemic Insurance Act that … RIMS has been supporting over the course of the last … two years.” — Lynn Haley Pilarski

“Hopefully next year everyone’s going to have that opportunity to … go to Washington, D.C., learn about what’s happening, and actually lobby. … It’s one of the most rewarding things that we can do as risk members.” Lynn Haley Pilarski

“We really are trying to get as much support as we can to introduce [PRIA].” — Lynn Haley Pilarski

“You have to try and make a relationship. You need to say, ‘How can I sort of ease into it?’ when [you] start to lobby. … You need to know about the Senator or the representative that you’re going to meet. … You have to do a little bit of homework.” — Lynn Haley Pilarski
